Alliance Bible & Leadership Academy ("ABLA," "we," "us," or "our") is an online Biblical education ministry operated by Power House Church. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit www.ablacademy.org, contact us, apply for admission, request scholarship information, enroll, or make a payment.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect the information entered in the contact form, including your name, email address, telephone number, address if provided, and message.

When you apply, we collect the fields and attachments you submit. These include identifying and contact details, date of birth, gender, education, employment, marital and spouse information where applicable, a photograph, church affiliation, spiritual history, ministerial credentials where applicable, application statements, signature, and application date. Some application responses concern religious beliefs or other sensitive personal matters. Please provide only information needed for your application and do not send payment-card details through application or contact fields.

We also receive correspondence concerning enrollment, scholarship assistance, student support, and payments. The information collected depends on the service you use.

The current Payment page directs tuition payments through a Wix payment link and scholarship donations through PayPal. The payment service collects the details entered in its checkout. ABLA may receive transaction records needed to identify the payer, confirm the amount and payment status, and administer tuition or scholarship support. A payment provider's privacy notice also applies when you use its service. Please do not email complete card numbers or security codes to ABLA.

The website and its service providers may collect technical and usage information, including IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, referral source, and site interactions. ABLA uses Wix website services and Google Analytics to understand website use. Cookie and tracking choices are described below.

How we use information

We use information to:

• respond to inquiries;
• review applications and scholarship requests;
• administer enrollment, courses, student records, and support;
• process payments and issue transaction records;
• communicate about an inquiry, application, enrollment, or account;
• protect the website, prevent fraud and spam, and comply with legal obligations;
• understand and improve website performance and the student experience; and
• maintain ministry and educational records.

How information may be shared

Information is processed through the services used to operate ABLA, including Wix for website hosting, forms and member features; the email service used for correspondence; payment services linked from our Payment page; Google Analytics for website measurement; and Usercentrics for cookie-consent choices. The site also includes POWR components and book-cover images loaded from outside publisher or retailer servers. Loading outside content sends the request and technical connection information, such as an IP address, to the content provider. Wix payment resources and a Forter fraud-prevention resource were detected in the current site scan; payment and security services may process transaction, device and connection information for checkout and fraud prevention. Service providers' processing is subject to their applicable terms and privacy notices. ABLA personnel use submitted information to handle inquiries, applications and student administration.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, protect rights or safety, or resolve a legal claim.

Cookies and analytics

Wix and connected services use cookies or similar technologies for website operation, security, member functions, measurement, and other purposes identified in the consent interface. ABLA has enabled the Usercentrics for Wix consent banner to present privacy choices. Use the choices available in that interface to manage optional categories. You can also manage cookies through your browser, although blocking necessary cookies may affect site functions.

Data retention and security

We retain academic results and records of awarded qualifications as needed to verify study and credentials. We retain other information while needed for the inquiry, application, student relationship, transaction, dispute, or applicable recordkeeping obligation. Information that is no longer needed is subject to review for deletion, taking account of legal requirements and legitimate recordkeeping needs.

Do not submit confidential information that ABLA does not need. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and privacy rights

Contact us using the details below to ask about information you have submitted or to request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent. Depending on where you live and the processing involved, applicable law may provide additional rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and some information may need to be retained for legal obligations, academic verification, or other applicable exceptions. Cookie choices can be managed separately through the available consent controls and your browser.

Children's privacy

ABLA describes its current diploma program as adult education. If you believe a child has submitted information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review the submission.

Third-party links

The website may link to outside services, retailers, social networks, or payment providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The revised effective date will appear at the top of the policy.
