Course 2 — Prayer

Book — Understanding the Purpose and Power of Prayer by Dr. Myles Munroe

Explore prayer as communication with God and consider its place in Christian life, spiritual growth, and service.

Course 3 — Introduction to Theology and Doctrines

Book — Bible Doctrines: A Pentecostal Perspective by William W. Menzies & Stanley M. Horton

Study God’s nature, the authority of Scripture, and core Christian beliefs through an introduction to theology and doctrine.

Course 4 — Old Testament Survey I (Genesis–Esther)

Book — Talk Thru the Bible by Bruce Wilkinson & Kenneth D. Boa
Explore Genesis through Esther, with attention to the historical setting, major themes, and place of each book in the Old Testament. Talk Thru the Bible is also used in Courses 5 and 6; you need only one copy for all three courses.

Continue the Old Testament survey through the wisdom books and prophets, from Job to Malachi.

  • Once enrollment and application process to ABLA has been accepted and student Paid in Full. You receive an email with your personal PASSWORD and LOGIN ID to your portal.  The page will have current Courses available to begin study.

  • ​Students are required to purchase course textbooks.  For the students’ convenience, a purchase link is provided with the course syllabus.​

​To Earn Your Certified Diploma

  • Completion of all 80 video class lectures online (10 courses, each course has eight video classes), including book reading, quizzes and final exam.

  • Complete the program within up to 24 months from your program start date.

  • Achieve a 70% minimum overall average.

  • No outstanding financial obligation to ABLA.
